I won’t complain about the snakes I see out here on the trails in AZ ever again lol

  2. Oh no, overgrown lizards.

We have to deal with brown bears on the local mountain trails. I have to carry bear spray and be careful not to ride too fast and make enough noise so they can get out or my way before i run into them

    I’d rather have the lizards

We got cougar sightings on my trails but I have seen the little guy yet. Can’t wait to pet em.

I’ve encountered bear, mountain lions, rattlesnakes, coral snakes, coyotes, javalina, tarantulas and dogs, but never ever came across an alligator.

  5. A few years ago when I lived in Florida one of the trails was closed for awhile cause a guy got bit

I’ve played enough Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Dave Mirra BMX to know you’ll unlock an achievement if you use it as a ramp or rail.

You may not need the suspension for the hills (or lack of) but you need it for the gators!

  8. Wildlife is why I don’t wear headphones while out hiking/biking. In my area I see about 1-3 rattle snakes per year in the valley trails, and up in the mountains there are bears, moose, mtn lions. I haven’t seen a bear or mtn lion in my local mountains but I know they’re there.

  9. Damn, that’s wild. We have some poisonous snakes in my area that can be on trails. After seeing this I think I’d rather deal with snakes

  10. Why I love mountain biking in Alaska. No snakes. No lizards. No gators. No javelinas. No mountain lions. Just a few bears who aren’t interested in my hobby and the occasionally cranky moose. My friends in AZ wear snake leggings, also probably helpful if a javelina goes off on them, unlikely though unless there’s a doggo along.

Would one try to ambush you while passing next to him on your bike? That sounds so scary!

  12. The trail is almost flat, why are you sca…. oh

Glad I only see deer, stags and squirrels.
