Hi, I’ve just bought myself a second hand helmet from Vinted it says it’s new without tags and it came with the original cover. The helmet is a MET manta Tadej Pogacar edition, just looking for some info and a legit check on it, it doesn’t feel overly sturdy considering it is carbon and he claimed he binned the original box (limited edition box) and instead has posted it in a GIRO helmet box(first worry) he bought it from a real website but I’m just a bit unsure and don’t know what to look out for Ive added some photos to see as well. If more photos required please let me know

Would never do it. If it is damaged and you crash, your head is gone.

Yeah a helmet is something you should buy new from a reputable seller
I never thought that anyone would ever need a LC on a piece of PPE, only an eejit would buy something so important from anywhere other than a reputable retailer where you have recourse?
It a styrofoam helmet. From other images on the internet it looks legit. The seller probably had second thoughts using a helmet because it had some pro’s name associated with it. It’s low key not that cool looking. Get a Jiro MIPS for the same money and know that your head will be protected.
IMO you should never buy and use a second hand piece of equipment that’s designed to protect your most valuable asset.
