Heck yeah – this feels like a legit trip report. Pics/clips of people riding, especially on solo trips, start to make me cringe because I’m thinking more, “they had to stop, walk ahead to set up camera (or ride back), ride by for the shot, go back and get the camera, and continue”. I’m thinking that most of these shots being of walking are because they’re basically stopped and that’s easy camera time.
That wet clay is savage… we have a patch near me in California, and I hit some in Bali, but for what appears to be most of the trip (with some sand mixed in)? Whoof.
It appears from a few of these shots that you’re pushing your bikes up steep chutes backwards. That seems like a great idea that I’ll try next time.
I don’t suppose you have a shot of your campsite?
_haha_oh_wow_ on
Sick, do any of you rock belt drives with all that mud? I’ve been thinking about picking up a Priority as a touring/bikepacking bike, but I’m not sure I’m sold on belts outside of commuter type situations.

Looks awesome and horrible at the same time
Dang I really wish this didn’t look miserable
Amazing! But looks tough, good going. Where in the Philippines is this?
Did you get a chance to ride your bikes? If the answer was “only to the trail head” then idk lol looks like hiking with a bike.
So happy to see cycling become popular in the Philippines! My cousin and nephews got into it during COVID lockdown.
Looks erm, difficult.
I just bought some bags from sack it in the Philippines, was trying to spot one in the photos but I didn’t see any.
This looks sick! Seems like a fun group of people to tackle that challenging terrain. What a fun adventure!
Gnarly and lush. Visiting the Philippines is on my bucket list, but riding through that shit would really make it a worthwhile trip.
I can feel the humidity 😭
As I looked at these pictures all I could think of was this kid: [https://www.tiktok.com/@2.0tweaky/video/7294726563873148206?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc](https://www.tiktok.com/@2.0tweaky/video/7294726563873148206?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc)
