




The goal was to build a Tarmac using a Pro frame and do it for less money than a stock S-works and at a lighter weight. The result was $3,000 less and almost 3 pounds lighter.

The Chaser Sports rotors look nice, any feedback on performance?
Is that a SRAM cassette with an ultegra derailleur? How’s the shifting?
That crank looks so out of place on the SL8. I feel that it belongs on a nice steel or titanium bike with a horizontal top tube, rather than on a modern bike. Also, what’s up with that stem length, is it that cold in the room? 😀
No direct mount for the RD?? There’s like 12g of fat to trim right there with that simple move!
Kidding aside, where do you reckon you shaved the most weight compared to a conventional build? You didn’t even go dura-ace, interesting choice.
