Hello are these tires seated properly? There is a seam I can not seem to get even all the way. Should it be showing? Should it not? Or does it not matter? The rims recommend 28-62mm tires and these are 2.3 width so I believe they should be within range. Thank you in advance!

It should be showing all the way. Deflate it and reinflate it again using a little soapy water around the bead to help it pop into place
Negative
They’re indeed not seated correctly. Deflate the tire till you can easily squish the tire, but not fully. Use a spray bottle and fill it with soapy water. Squish the tire where it’s not seated correctly and squirt the water into the tire over the full width of the area. It’s just so it’s a bit slippery and easier for the tire to move. Pump the tire back up and try to pull the tire a bit, to help it set correctly. Go a bit over the pressure you normally would like to use. If it worked first try, you can deflate to your preferred pressure. If it did not work first try, deflate it again until you can squish the tire and just try again, without adding any new water. Only use extra water when you see that it’s not at the correct spot and you want a bit extra. Less is more
Riding it may get that last PING of seating the bead
Fill to 45 psi and find out 🤷😅
But yeah it looks wrong, so deflate and re-seat them
Just installed some new Minion’s. Both seated on the bead at around 30 psi. Try adding a little more air if you need to or just air down and spray dish soap on the bead.
60 psi will set it
Just add more air until it pops out. Or help it along by pulling on the carcass there.
Give the wheel/tire a good bounce/bump on that area when pumping up more.
You guys don’t see the floating hand ?
Glad to have witnessed the birth of this pointing hand meme lmao
Redo. Add a bit of soapy water so that bead can seal more easily. Also align valve and tire logo, good practice and looks cleaner.
Where’s the rest of your arm?
Just fuckin’ air it up bro.
When did the hand make its way here
Just bang it in the ground it will pop on probably
Soapy water, more pressure.
Deflate it some and work it back and forth with your hands until it’s even. You’re welcome in advance.
Yes that seem should be showing and even all the way round.
Get some soapy water and spray it around that area then inflate the tyre until the bead pops on.
Put about 60psi in it and listen for the pops!
I just grab that part of the tire, pull it away from that side of the rim, and it usually pops into place. You might have to lower the pressure a bit for that to work if you have it pumped way high
What I do is after I’ve aired it up, I literally hold the wheel in my hands and slap the edge of the tread on the ground all around and on both sides
Put the wheel in direct sunlight. The air inside will expand and seat the tire.
Don’t dick around deflating/soapy water etc just punch more air into it. At most give it a little tappy if needed
Inflate to 50psi and it will pop into place
