The crack near the wheel isn’t the concern, the real concern is the circular crack around the suspension block. If that part of the frame holding the block snaps you could fall backwards and lose control of the bike. I would get it checked asap.

best to get this checked with your local Brompton dealer – they will most likely get you a new rear triangle
bearing that in mind, you have a bike from 2005 – not really surprising this has happened after such a long time
also, not sure if using these roller wheels is the best idea. would avoid everything that’s not OEM
Same thing happened to me and I was able to find a local (Minneapolis) bike frame builder & welder to do a repair. It’s not factory anymore but it did the trick and is probably stronger than before. DM me and I can send you a photo of the repair.

I gues this is what u/SYCarina was talking about when he warned u/Gaga808 in the [Inline skate wheels as easy wheels…👍](https://www.reddit.com/r/Brompton/comments/17sr98n/comment/k95gq8p/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) post?
I’m guessing new rear triangle time.

Maybe this will help?: https://www.eerdermetaal.nl/brompton_webshop.html#!/Eerder-metaal-Repair-bridge-for-Brompton-rear-frame-repair/p/129776497/category=36316596
You can fix it with this [https://eerdermetaal.nl/brompton_webshop.html#!/Eerder-metaal-Repair-bridge-for-Brompton-rear-frame-repair/p/129776497/category=36316596](https://eerdermetaal.nl/brompton_webshop.html#!/Eerder-metaal-Repair-bridge-for-Brompton-rear-frame-repair/p/129776497/category=36316596)
u should learn a lesson, that skate wheels destroyed your rear triangle.
maybe if u can find a good frame builder they can torch and bent it back to shape and braze it again
Lmao at the people who think some silly skateboard wheels did this.
An 18 year old steel frame can crack. Especially with the thin Brompton tubing.
Two things you can do here:
– find a local bike frame builder and get it welded
– swap the rear triangle , might as well get a titanium aftermarket one.
