I bought a Canyon Aero bike a year ago, and after three months I noticed that the coating on the seatpost was peeling off. Canyon sent me a replacement, but now the same problem has occurred again. Is this a known issue? Is it normal? Now they want me to take it to a bike shop.

I have the exact same size dot peeling off on the size chart on the Aeroad seat post.
I made nothing of it. Since it already happened to you twice I bet it’s nothing.
That’s the point of the seatpost where it has the most lateral stress. I’m not surprised it might have a few signs of wear, but it looks like it’s only the surface finish and not the structural integrity of the seatpost to be compromised.
