I bought this from an estate sale hoping to get into road biking but it isnt for me. I paid $165 for it. I am seeing it on EBay for around $1100 and not sure if that is really the worth of it? It has Swimano ultra gear breaks and derailleur.

This is an older bike (2000) and has old tech. Even if it was pristine, I think 1100 is steep.
I would expect those 1k ones to be the Lance era US Postal Treks with full Dura Ace. Even then those sorts of prices are anchoring more so then actual sales. A black Ultegra bike of this era is not worth much more than 3-400. Maybe worth a list at 500 just to see if there is a taker.
