Our journey through Albania’s Accursed Mountains, exploring rural valleys, and meeting local people. It took us through Shkoder, into Theth National Park, and then we zig-zagged our way south.

A lot changed after this section of the ride. It was unforgettable, with some of the hardest yet most fulfilling riding to date, and encounters which made something shift inside. We owe a lot to the incredible people of Albania!

Thank you for watching and following our journey through the Balkans. I’m sorry for the bigger gap between films. I’m really glad to share our experiences in such a beautiful part of the world.

  1. Thank you for watching our last film and sorry it's been a bit longer since the last one. We've had some bigger distances to cycle with shorter visas, so we didn't want to rush the cycling or the video editing. But, very glad this film is ready to share, particularly as our time in Albania meant a huge amount to us. I hope this film can show you the Albania which we fell in love with! Thank you for watching and following our journey 🙂 Josh & Sarah

  2. Now I understand the draw of the mountains that so captivates you. In the process of immersing yourselves into truly authentic places and people the journey is doing it's work within you. That, my friends, is a most wonderful gift. The Albanians clearly are a lovely people. I so enjoyed your interactions with them. The little boy climbing on behind Josh made me smile, and the boy in the red shirt was just so eloquent and sincere. The girl teaching Sarah to milk sheep is someone I would want to stay in touch with. I saw no self seeking amonst these folks, only giving and joy. And this is the evidence of a true heart, and what is being lost in our "advanced" societies.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful country and people, and your hearts. May the journey continue to nurture, teach, grow and bless you.
    🥰 🚵‍♀️ 🌄 🚵‍♂️ ♥️!!

  3. Hello young uns , I haven't seen many posts , it's good to see you enjoying life to the full despite it being tough at times ..the big thing will be after this where would we settle down for a year or so and I'm pretty sure it won't be England after watching this ..

  4. Thank you for making such a beautiful film. Albania looks stunning. I think in this film you mentioned it was June, so it was filmed last year, may I ask where abouts you are currently on this journey? Stay safe and enjoy.

  5. Thanks for this vid. So great to see you. I envy the relationship you have. It must be special to be so close, to share everything with someone and create memories that you will have forever. I love the Skiddaw badge on the top tube bag. I guess I got into your channel when you were living fairly close down Mungrisedale. I wonder how the cats are doing! Continued safe travels to you both and good health. Stay safe.
