Helmet is a fox proframe , seen 1year and a half of use almost every weekend , i ride all season. If it is toasted i was wondering about what i should buy . I sweat a lot and ride mostly on local trails + want to do bike park during summer. I have 20-30min of pedaling before getting to my local spot. I shape and do jump , drop , doubles, tech stuff with rocks and roots. Im also going to buy a dirt bike and learn dirt/pumptrack . I was leaning into a Fox proframe rs or a Specialized Gambit or a Leatt enduro 4.0 for the lightness and better airflow but people tend to say its too light for jumps and heavy riding. I have the specialized tactic 4 for commuting and chill a-m trip . It saved my head recently from a fat fall at 35km/h straight to a car, left hand broken and left ribs bruised , no head trauma so im kinda convinced about specialized from personal experience . I did not have really big crash with the proframe , i bruised my right ribs last month from a otb in a turn but it was mostly a shock on the shoulder , no gnarly tree eating or fat otb during jumps. I just want to buy the right thing for what i do and be safe .

If you crash in it, replace it. Most brands offer a crash replacement discount.

In the end how much is your head worth to you?

  2. If you have a single doubt, get a new helmet. Contact Fox and ask for a crash replacement.
