The crown race did not fit over the monster gravel fork for the lower headset that came with the wolf tooth set. I kept the bearing in with that headset but I used the crown race (I guess it's a bearing seal?) from the headset that state sent to me which does fit over the fork and down to the bottom of it.
I am guessing this is fine? I just wanted to check here.
(obviously ignore the uncut fork. I am no where near ready to cut it yet.)

So to be clear, everything is from the wolf tooth headset except the lower crown race? It will be fine only if the old crown race uses the same angle as the Wolf Tooth bearing uses, you should compare them closely and make sure they’re mating up cleanly before proceeding.
Yeah realistically I’m thinking that fork has a crown race for cartridge bearings molded into it. Check the angle by checking manufacturer websites or emailing. The 2 most common are 36 degrees and 45 degrees, if my memories right.

Needs a crown race, and that bearing is upside down. It goes chamfered side up.
