  1. You probably need hg, but depending on what drivetrain you have, I’d probably get a ms or xd and change the cassette.

Edit: you can buy and swap the freehub later, but it’s $200-250 for the part.

  2. It’s either hg or microspline. Judging by the Shimano groupset. We would be able to give a more concrete answer if we knew what bike it is and what groupset is on it. If you can’t determine take it to a shop, as I suspect that’s where the bike if going to end up anyway. They will tell you. If you’re doing the work yourself, get a cassette tool and chain whip and see for yourself.

  3. Mt400 is HG hub, so if you don’t want to change your drivetrain, i’d take that. If you want to upgrade drive train, then MS or XD, that way you could upgrade to 12s shimano or sram drivetrain, they do have some benefits overall. (Though there are sram cassettes for HG freehub too)

  4. I recently ordered from I-9 and was confused too. I messaged them and they helped me out

Don’t let folks get you down about your polygon, they’re great bikes. I miss my d6!
