I'm not transphobic, but it's way deeper than any of y'all think, not because you dress as a woman and you had a chest surgery this makes you a woman, bc being a woman isn't only about make-up or representation , it's about what you deal with daily, and what you're going to deal with , i guess the main problem is in cases like public bathrooms and changing rooms , you're still not women enough to be considered safe to stay with , but you're also not strong enough or manly to stay with men , something else is that we can't be calling someone a woman just bc they want to , are you going to let a 40 year old trans men who have always been a men his whole life into a women's dorm or bathroom just bc he wants to be called a woman? Obviously not , so in this case we just cancel the whole idea , I'm not against men dressing feminine, I'm not against women dressing masculine, but I'm against someone dressing up as another's Personne identity just for their comfort, what's comfortable for you may don't be comfortable for others
You’re not a woman if you don’t have a uterus. Sorry that popular culture thinks it’s okay to lie to you. Happiness is learning to love the person you are, not becoming what you wish to be.
As a transmasc (agender male) i realllyyyyy understand but I PERSONNALY (keywords) like calling myself a TRANSmasc bicuz it reminds me that (if people use he or they for me) i pass and i'm happi
They can't be called women because they're not women. Not a weird statement, not a hot take, just a fact. A men can be feminine and like makeup or dresses or idk sewing (to name traditionally female things), but it doesn't make them a women 😂
I hate when people feel like they have to specify we’re trans when saying men and women would have been fine, but I’m also ok with people mentioning I’m trans when it’s actually relevant to the conversation and makes sense to distinguish me from other men in a way that’s uplifting and appreciative of nuance rather than meant to invalidate me as a man, or trans women as women.
Trans men are men, and trans women are women, so unless it matters in that context that they’re trans, that’s what we should be called.
However, it’s important not to get so radical with this idea that we start telling trans people how they’re allowed to talk about themselves. I’ve see people go to the extreme of policing my language as a trans man describing myself as a trans man when I feel it’s relevant to mention this difference to cis men, because according to them I’m invalidating myself as a trans man and by extension all other trans men. First off, stfu. If I want to call myself transexual while you prefer transgender, or use a microlabel, or want people to be very aware that I live in a different world from cis men by being visibly trans or mentioning I’m trans sometimes, stop telling me and other trans people how to refer to their frickin selves and how to express ourselves in general. As long as I’m not identifying as trans harmful or being a bigot towards other tran people it’s not a problem.
Erasing the language used to describe the nuance behind our identities isn’t woke, it’s actually the opposite—it’s linguistic oppression, it’s a tool from the oppressor. Linguistic oppression isn’t a made up thing, look up the definition and study a bit and you’ll see it’s a real phenomenon, recognized by scholars, that affects more than just trans people. Linguistic oppression is a method the oppressor uses to carry out the process of erasure and it’s harmful to us for a number of reasons, including but not limited to making it almost impossible to communicate what it’s like to be one of us in this society that treats us differently so that it’s harder to get something done about it, or making us have to jump through extra obstacles to be visible under the guise of avoiding triggering someone else’s dysphoria—as if my own discomfort as not being seen as the whole person I am, which includes being trans, doesn’t matter as much by comparison as someone else’s discomfort that I’m also familiar with. Maybe I would change my language if literally every word and other descriptive language we have on the subject isn’t insulting to SOMEONE claiming to be trans themselves or an ally—and I’m convinced there’s conservatives out there repackaging their bs that’s designed to hurt us to make it sound woke and enlightened that we accept it. Identity politics, when not respected enough to be talked about in a liberating, informed, intersectional, open minded, and levelheaded way, becomes respectability politics. This only benefits the oppressor. Just remember that, folks.
Because too many trans women are trying to invade women's safe spaces. If penises hadn't started walking into locker rooms, prisons, and women's shelters then this wouldn't be as big of a deal. It would be a few fringe evangelicals that are obsessed with other people. It is the erasing of women's rights that caused the backlash.
you answered the question, you’re a transgender woman, that’s the difference, you’ve transitioned into a woman which puts you into a separate category, you’re a transgender woman, not a woman because a woman is someone who was born female and didn’t transition kinda like how a transgender man is just that, a transgender man because a man is someone who was born male and didn’t have to transition, being a transgender woman is different from being a woman and being a transgender man is different from being a man and that is okay, people celebrate being transgender until they have to say that they are in their every day life, i’m not being transphobic, i have a friend who’s a transgender man and he agrees with me on this, he’s a transgender man and not a man, you’re a transgender woman and not a woman
Painting a rose red is not the same has transitioning lol. Your brain has 2 sexes. Your genitalia develops first, then your brains sex does. Sometimes the brains sex is not the same as the genitals sex.
I think its ok to do what you want to feel comfortable and happy in YOUR body but you can’t make anyone else agree with your delusions gender cannot be changed 🤷🏾♀️ like i can get my body done right now but guess what, that does not mean i have a natural body…. My kids wont look like me if i had a nose job because surgery does not change who you really are. Just changed what you look like….

No, they’re not. That’s just a fact. Men with autogynophilia will never be women just because they think they are one.
Assume that everyone denying our right to be who we are have been tainted by colonialist & imperial bigotry.

I called myself a millionaire. Why am I still broke?

Truth right here buddy

In my opinion, trans women or not real women they are men that THINK that they can be women I’m not trying to be rude. This is just my opinion.
An xy chromosome can never be an xx chromosome and vice versa end of discussion.

Males can never be girls or women.
Females can never be men or boys.
All you can do is pretend by trying to look like the opposite sex.
Trans women are women! ❤🏳️⚧️
