Wanted to build up something for long road rides with higher gearing and smaller wheels/tires than my gravel/bikepacking bike. Got a nice deal on the frame from asking around on this sub.
Got lots of the bits and pieces used or on sale. This is now my do-it-all road/commuter bike and it rides great. 650b x 43 just glides over shitty roads without feeling like a slog.
Have you guys seen these $18 7-9 speed RDs from microshift? No complaints so far.
