Different viewpoint. For the talent Visma has, they are always tucked in behind other talented riders for the win, rarely pulling. This is the case with recent Vindegard wins and now Wout doing almost nothing but conserve. It is lame. I get it is a tactic, but the best bikers in the world show it by being out front. Visma's whole mantra is cowardly. I hope next time Pogi realizes that letting talented riders leach is a recipe for a loss, he threatens to slow down and let the pack catch up and let Wout decide if he is man enough to take half the pulls. To be fair, maybe it isn't Wout's fault, as it seems to be a Team Visma thing to ride from the back. (By the way, I have nothing against Wout as a person, I just don't like the kind of wins where it feels like the rider doesn't earn it.)
