absolutely love my Brompton and I ride it hard. I commute to work on bumpy New York City roads with tons of potholes. Approximately 2.5 miles (4 kilometers-ish) two times a day. Last week I did two almost 20 miles rides (32 kilometers-ish) I do relative frequent cleanings, about once a month and I bought it only about eight months ago. I also adjust the breaks when needed, oil the hinges about every other week and other small maintenance things here and there.
Recently this squeaking noise has developed while it's folded. I've also noticed a little bit more shake in the handlebars when it's unfolded. Is this just normal wear and tear? Or is it something to be concerned about? I can always take it to the bike shop if need be, but they definitely would charge me an arm and and a leg, so I thought I'd get a first opinion here.

The creak is normal mine does it, the handlebar wobble sounds potentially like you may need your hinge pin replacing.
J’ai le même souci, je pense que cela vient du serrage de la vie qui tient le frein arrière et le tampon. Ainsi aussi vérifier la fixation du porte-bagages.
I think it’s your upstairs neighbours having fun
