Just got this GT gutterball. Never had a fixed gear before. Neighbor was throwing this out and scooped it for free. He said it wouldn’t hold air but I don’t think he knew how to use a presta valve. Any value to these?

He was throwing out the whole bike because it wouldn’t hold air? Is your neighbor like a the heir to an oil company with no understanding of what money means to normal people?
Hell of a bike to get for free! Infuriating bars, though. With a few little tweaks this’ll ride real nice as long as it fits you
Your bars are upside down 🙂 The ends are supposed to be below the middle part and look towards the end of the bike .
After all the money I’ve sunk into mine there better be LOL. Sick bike tho, after a lil tlc this thing will be great!

Clean it up nice strip it down and sell the frame for one that fits you. You’ll be glad and you won’t damage yourself. It’s sought after so it should sell pretty quick.
Nice score, definitely too small for you if you’re six feet tall. I always thought these were nicer than the gtbs, but I don’t think they were ever really sought after like those ended up being.
