Picked this up on fb for a pretty reasonable price, as it was rotting away in someones garage with mostly all the original components. Have been replacing all the components with parts bin/ebay/ and parts borrowed from another bike I have. Still have yet to fully dial it in but pretty stoked how its turning out. I have another carbon fork for it as well that is way lighter than the stock one but I like the matching frameset so will keep as is for now. Ive got a previous gen crux and this thing is as light or lighter.

  1. This is really, really good. TBH I’d keep the fork. Alu + steel actually works quite nice on the street, and you’re not gonna notice the weight.

Both of my last road bikes had swapped carbon forks, and I can’t tell you how long I tried to track down the original.
