  1. Poor driving from the AL driver. The cyclists intention was to turn right (he was in the right turn lane only) The AL driver should have seen this and anticipated the cyclist doing just what he did. That was a late orange for the AL driver. (Is that a 20mph road – I think most of London is now) The AL driver could easily have stopped – no following traffic. Cyclist should have checked if it was clear before turning – he will from now on. I think the AL driver will be done for careless driving…

  2. Cyclists should stop jumping the gun thr driver has to go on yellow driver is in the clear cyclists fault going g too early as usual

  3. Disagree, amber light was on well before driver got to the stop line, no attempt to brake, though its obvious the cyclist went through the junction on a red, 50/50 blame.

  4. Hi Mikey,
More than likely cyclist at fault. Both should have better awareness especially the car for obvious reasons. Lesson learned so both may do better from now on. Could have been more serious.

  5. Its insane how many people in the comments are saying its both fault of driver and cyclist. That insane cyclist jumped in front of the car!

  6. The cyclist was lucky, if he'd been 1/2 second quicker off, or the AL driver had slowed a fraction, he could have been under the front corner of it.
100% on the cyclist that one. AL driver would have had to stamp hard on the brakes to make the stop line, so absolutely fine to continue. Cyclist powered off without looking still with a full red light, not even red/amber.

  7. FAFO cyclist discovers that it's not a got idea to jump lights and ride in front of a big lump of moving metal. Hopefully he has had to pay for the repairs to the vehicle plus compensation for any trauma that the driver suffered.

  8. Your incorrect!?
The car is clearly going faster than 20mph and although the light was amber before he reached it and dispite no traffic behind he he did not apply his brakes.
So even though the cyclists shouldn't have been there neither should the car.
    I my opinion it's a 50/50 split

  9. Car driver is going fast to beat the light , however he does not go through red , but just . The cyclist is not aware of any road traffic and lunges across the road . Cyclist at fault , not sharpe enough . This cyclist will lose life if he does not take better care on those busy roads .

  10. Interesting, not too long ago we chatted, here in the comments on one of your videos about Addison Lee. Something about how bad they were years, and years ago, when we cyclists had potatoes for cameras.
