Fitbikeco 2026 model with 21.25 inch top tube? It’s fairly decent priced for me at around £500 but I wanna know I’ll be able to actually sit down and ride and not have to stand constantly with me being 6’4 I want to be comfortable. Not for tricks, just riding about, and yes I prefer the bmx style and don’t want a mud jumper or anything different . Any help appreciated. I also don’t really want to go down the 22” bmx route, mainly cost.

  1. Chris Doyle was about the same height and apparently ran a frame with the same top tube length. So long as you have some good rise on the bars (which it looks like you do) then it will be as good as anything.
Ultimately you’re a tall guy though, and bmxs are small so there’s a limit to how much you can solve that mismatch by messing with top tubes!!!

You might find you have to buy a longer seat post though. Most bmxs run their seats slammed nowadays so I’d be surprised if it comes with a long tube for cruising on.

  2. You’re a tall guy, and bmx isn’t even in its biggest format (excluding cruisers) a sit down type deal really.
However, some 10” bars, a longer 330mm post will help overall. Bmx complete bikes just don’t come in bigger sizes for tall riders unfortunately.

I am 6’3″ and run a 21.25 soundwave and the size feels great to me. I know it’s not exactly your height but figured I would share a little on the tall side of my experience.
