  1. Nope. Half are missing and the cage that hold them in place is destroyed. Time to head to your local bike shop!

I’m assuming this bearing was once a sealed bearing?
What’s missing is the cage, separating the bearing balls at an even distance.
From the looks of it, the cage is still half eaten inbetween the two rings and bearing balls, that are now “rolling free”..
So, to answer your question, the bearing could still work, but there is quite a real risk of bits of cage getting stuck inbetween the rings and/or bearing balls, which would most likely cause your pedal stroke to just seize.
Is it safe? Well, you probably won’t die instantly, but it could potentially cause a hazardous situation and possibly injury while you’re cruising through traffic..

So, can it still be used? Probably yes.
Would it be recommended? Most probably not..
Make of this what you will, but be careful!🫣

    Edit: “won’t arrive until..”?
Can’t you just simply go to a nearby hardware store or metal shop and see if they have a replacement bearing with the same dimensions?
BMX BB bearing are nothing special or unique. Any other type of bearing with the same dimensions will fit😉

If your just riding it should be fine, BB is already trashed not gonna mess it up more than it is. Yeah it’ll probably feel and sound like shit I definitely wouldn’t try any tricks or anything lol, but just pedaling should be fine. Maybe take it on a short ride before so you know your not gonna get stranded.
