I went over the top. I thought at first the front forks had bent and then saw this damage to the crossbar and down tube. Can I assume this frame is now toast? The wheel doesn’t fit under the down tube so there is significant damage in a few placesz

Such a shame. What a beauty. This happened to me once. I was on a bike tour and I had to keep riding. I bent the frame back by sticking the forks into a chain link fence and used the whole frame as leverage. It sort of worked until I slammed on the brakes too hard and the frame bent from the baking torque and the wheel went straight into the frame. I crashed again.
So this isn’t Remco’s bike.
New bike day has arrived.
