Hey y'all! Here's my 90's Trek 800 Antelope. I picked this up as a frame at my local bike swap (frame, fork, and seatpost). This started as a proof of concept for a Specialized Hardrock build I was planning….and now it's my favorite bike. When I picked this up, it was in a pretty derelict state and I am pleased with how it cleaned up. When I picked this up, someone had written a 'C' in front of Antelope, which was very funny but unfortunately it chipped off.

For those curious about parts…

Cockpit:

Nitto x Bluelug Bullmoose bars

Dimension stem adapter

Avid Speed Dial 7 brake levers

Microshift Advent 9 speed trigger shifter

Trek Line Comp grips in Cobra Blood

Drivetrain:

Microshift Sword 40t square taper cranks

Microshift Advent 1×9 medium cage derailleur

Microshift Advent 9 speed 11-42 Cassette

Wheels are just some no-name wheels I found

Brakes are Shimano Deore V-Brakes (would have gone canti but the frame was naked and I prefer the feel of V-brakes). Some parts are new, some are from the parts bin. If this had 3x I would have kept it but that wasn't the case. At the very least, this frame was saved from the scrap pile
