  1. I still cant understand how adding a relay would improve starter motor.

    Edit: sorry I was interrupted before finishing my comment/question above. Anyway, what I meant was the starter was already connected to batt directly, so what would be the benefit/boost gained by adding a relay in-between them since a relay would not boost them unlike a cap/condenser?

  2. This makes no sense to me. You have two wires going to the solenoid from the 4-pin relay. Why? If Pin 86 is ground, then Pin 85 turns on the 4-pin relay, so it should be from the Ignition switch, terminal C (for Crank). Pin 30 has the 12v from the battery just waiting to get sent on pin 87 (back to the solenoid?) I don't think so. I'd send pin 87 to your electric choke on the carburetor or to the petronix electronic coil.
