haven't set it up yet fully but pushed it through the range and it looks like it will easily accommodate, hopefully it shifts good.
SRAM rival 1 mechanical set up with an after market eagle cage. should let me use this 11-51 tooth cassette.
also, silver looks so much better than black

I put a garbaruk (fake) derailleur cage on my grx derailleur to take it from 11-42 to 11-50
The new oversized jockey wheels also look cool, but aren’t necessary. Im still glad I got them for 20$ extra.
Overall, it cost me about 70$. Hill climbing is easier than ever and the modded derailleur looks great.
I did break a tiny plastic spacer when dissassembling, I had to 3D print a replacement.
I feel like any DIY and hacking is valid and we should definitely try more.
Holy shit that’s awesome, been dying to up my gears past 38/46 max and while I can move down to 36/46…38/51 sounds so much better
