Ever since got a 22” bike I’ve been trying to build these trails in my back yard. I really don’t know what I’m doing though. So far I have about a 5’ tall roll in followed by a hip roller thing then a little step up with a long landing that drops down about 4 or 5’ from the top. Then it’s a double with a bridged 7’ gap to an old table top. What can I do to make this better? Is there any good sources of info on making bmx jumps? I feel like I’ve watched every YouTube video.

Progress on my trail

Nothing like some private trails, thats a great start. You have a water source? Go digging around to try and find some good clay to top those off, Get a sifting box. Invest in a really light good quality flat head shovel, a wheel barrow, You have a trail thats a huge start. Clearing woods and a path is very time consuming and one of the hardest parts. Keep at it. Get some tarps and some old carpets to protect the jumps from weather when not in use. Most of all have fun!!
