I’m relatively new to bikepacking (just finished my 2nd trip) and I would like to upgrade my repair kit—I use my MTB hardtail with tubeless tires. I also have a road bike that has its own repair kit, and ideally I keep those separate.. one thing that would be nice to share between the two kits is a lightweight pump (for my roadie I carry co2 cartilage but I think pump may be better). Show off your kits pls!! (Pic of my setup for attention 😎)

Bacon Strips, a tpu tube, emergency wax, tyre levers, zip ties, Restrap straps (stow away tiny), multi tool, 2 pairs of quick links, mini pump, quick link pliers if you can fit them
More treats – The dog, probably
Baling wire, electrical tape and duct tape in addition to the top answer.
For bikepacking, spare derailleur hanger is a must imo. You can probably find most other things in most shops but a busted hanger has near 0% chance of being in store.
#1 is mechanical knowledge, know how to fix your shit or bodge it.
Chain breaker and a few quick links are my absolute #2 though. Pumps always better than co2.
If youre going super long and in remote places/countries I would even consider a spare freehub body/pawls depending on your set up.
