Hi folks!
My first cleaning of a bike with internal cable routing… put the wheel back on and the rear derailleur won’t shift down:/ No “click” to signify the down shift in the shifter. Documented the issue in the attached video.
Any help is super appreciated!

Try unbolting your rear shift cable & see if your shifter clicks when you shift. If it does it’s not your lever. Maybe your cable housing is stuck or actually hanging on outside of the internal housing frame guide. Like just sitting on it. Salsa Warbirds lower cable housing tends to rust or corrode at bottom bracket area with that non-waterproof plate. Some pics show bad they can get, how tight the area is & how the cable housing can catch above the housing slots there.

had something similar happen to my 11-speed Ultegra shifter. I completely removed the cable (with little friction so the housing was ok) and it started clicking up and down again. so, could be the cable got out of position in the shifter mechanism or the cable itself is fraying. either way my vote is to replace the cable and clean the shifter mechanism while you’re at it.
