For the last few months I’ve been delivering on an e-bike… but before that, everything on this channel started with a normal push bike.
So I wanted to test something.
Can you still make money on Deliveroo with a standard bike?
Same city.
Same time window.
Same apps.
Just push bike vs e-bike
Two hours on each and we see which one actually wins.
This video also marks the final ride for my Voodoo Marasa — the bike that technically launched this entire channel.
It survived years in storage, a heavy crash, thousands of miles around Birmingham… and today it gets its final shift.

That E-bike is a beasstttt!!!!!!! Also, bro deffo leveled up the editing game with that intro. Elite 😇 A side by side shift where the audio changes and the video stays split could be a bonkers idea for a video 😮 6:20 wouldn't recommend a fog horn ahaha. My bikes from Engwe have those and I rarely use the horn because it's gonna make people jump in bushes

its a nightmare long jobs on a Pushbike/Ebike, as a £4.50 can eat up an hour here, by the time you pick up, drop off, and ride back. then take into account the hills, eating into the battery range. But great video mate, loved it 🙂
Another 🔥 video. Good to see the side by side comparison. I respect anyone who does this job on a push delivery unplugged is one of those guys although he has also switched to ebike which i dont blame him. Look for too seeing more videos that himiway is a beast of a bike
Hah. You see I come at it as a keen cyclist. I ride 50 miles+ days and multi night tour for fun so I’m push bike all the way. In my town I lap up the high earning 3+ mile orders that I suspect the less fit and the battery conserving ebike riders reject multiple times. I don’t have to worry about running out of battery; I’ll just get a Mars Bar from any old corner shop on route!
My town is flat though.
Yes I’ll consider money paid versus time I think it’ll take to do the job, but I don’t let distance put me off on its own.

Push bikes are faster as your cardio stats say, pedal power 15mph but e-bike power only 10???

I've been Deliverooing , Ubering and a bit of Stuart on a pushbike in the West End of London,fulltime for a year now.
Certainly builds up the leg muscles and stamina , I choose my jobs quite carefully regarding hills and distance…etc
The best are double/triple orders within 1 to 2 miles..that's my best way of making £££ in the shortest time.
I dont know how long I can contue long term..I'm 53…
I started after failing to find any job after caring for my mother for three and a half years..
Quite enjoy the freedom and not having to be at the same place,same time everyday.
Hey 👋🏿☺️ dude new subscriber here I live in Brum myself, I'm not too far from the universities up Bristol road, I actually ride my e-bike up Bristol road cycle lane, that cycle lane I absolutely love riding up it at night so quiet and safe I love it. I also go to choir practice in Saint Martin's church by Bullring rag markets doors open at 6pm every Thursday evening so if I see you around there I'll greet you 😊
I do uber eats and just eat in a push bike on a daily basis and travel all over liverpool my highest earning day is £120 ive been riding a push bike for 9 months now up hills and everything and my legs and body are super used to it now and i had an ebike but i make more money on a push bike than an ebike
