  1. First you’d have to clean the surface and smooth it out with some sandpaper, because they have some deep grooves and uneven consumption. Then measure.

There’s not much left in them, personally I’d replace, but you can use them a little longer if you really want to.

When I buy a bike I just buy a bag of pads so I never have to ask this question. Automatic toss,
clean rotors with alcohol and fresh ones in.

No. Definitely not. There’s too much wear and too much contamination. You need new ones.

Start as thick as a quarter, replace when there as thick as a dime.
    Usually my solid reference point

Yes., you still have usage out of them.
You definitely on the tail end of the lifespan, but ya got some meat left on the bones.

Don’t try to sand and if you feel inclined to , the don’t sand the pads too much. The groves are fine, they happen from debris and normal wear. If you try to sand it to get a level surface, you’ll shorten the life of the pads.

  7. I wouldn’t keep using them, because there’s a lip wearing in from the pads being set too high above the rotor. New pads + fix that problem. Caliper spacer might be slightly too big.

  8. They look fine, don’t worry about the gouges, if they are at all contaminated then you’re going to need to clean them before using

They are off the bike, they have a lot of wear with a little life left. Personally, I would replace at this point t.

They’re so worn that it’s not worth the effort to put them back in and replace them later, just throw in new ones now
