I am looking for a bike for longer rides along local gravel trails (50km+) and the occasional multi-day bikepacking trip. I am located in Finland so the pricing tends to be higher and the range of bikes available is a bit more limited.

Seller is offering to include lightweight cranks with power meter for an extra €350 (which I think I would probably go for) and also Orra Prime carbon wheels for an extra €500 (which I probably will pass on).

Anyone have any experience with the sizing on Cannondale bikes? This bike has a size L frame which is noted as suitable for 180-195cm height. I am 173cm but I have an 81cm inseam, so I think this might be the right size for me.

Does this sound like a reasonable option and price for my use case?

  1. In the US these bikes have been pretty heavily discounted. Can buy one new for $2k USD, but I understand that prices are higher for you.

Also, to clarify is it 1650 base price plus 350 for the cranks + power meter? If so 2k euro for a basic carbon bike with aluminum wheels is a pretty hefty price. The other consideration with the power meter is that it looks like this one is crank arm based so if you don’t like the length of the crank arms you’ll need to get new power meter crank arms.

I think you should pass on the crank arms and just get some decent power meter pedals for the same price.

Overall I would pass but I don’t know your situation for bike availability, if this is a much better deal than everything else then go for it
