Tarmac in my area is absolutely abysmal. Just check the picture. It’s insane. After catching 3 flats on a single ride i put my roadbike on a trainer and never looked back. Almost quitted cycling. Then i read about building your own bike, did a full Excel sheet, put all the ideas in a whiteboard and bought all of the parts from the aliexpress.
It’s magical. 38c slick tires, redshift stem, carbon spring leaf post, everything just to survive my roads in comfort.
I did the biggest mistake and bought my first two bikes with an idea of where i wanted to ride then and did not think where i would actually ride them. Sure i could toss them into the trunk and drive somewhere but it kinda destroyed my idea of cycling.

Your chain is 3-4 links too long. In the small/small combo it should be taut.
You got a redshift stem from AliExpress?
