Got the call after work yesterday and hauled butt for an hour to get to the bike shop. Apparently an old lady traded in her two 2007era Brompton a-lines and since I called last week and mentioned that I wanted one and they saved my info, I was able to snatch her up for $600. They tuned her up and everything, making sure it was all in great working order.
This thing is a dream to ride compared to my Strida 2!

Nice! I have the exact same year, model, and colour! Been riding her for about 19 years (even in winters), and she’s still going strong–just one replacement of the triangle hinge pin and the usual small components here and there. That is an excellent price for that condition. Congratulations!
Nice is that the reason you also purchased the new door nob with twist lock?
