Hi all, I just got this sick used carbon trispoke front wheel for my fixed. However it dawned on me that I might not be able to do wheelies anymore due to the risk of damaging it. Anyone got any advice? Should I stop doing wheelies with these rims?

if you land wheelies so poorly that you regularly pop tubes and bend alu rims, then don’t use that rim.
if you don’t, feel free to use it.
just send it. your tire is absorbing a lot of the shock of coming down from a wheelie.
That thing is sick asf
I have the same wheelset in matte carbon. Wheelie as much as you like bro just don’t be fucking reckless
It’s not an aerospoke so you should be fine *IYKYK* also not a trispoke lover but this is an exception, very sick
I have the same one.
It has a hollow aluminum axle. I bent it hopping curbs and generic riding around.
It’ll probably bend for you trying to do wheelies if you come down hard.
Just swap the axle for a solid one and you’ll be good. That’s what I did and the wheel is still great.
