  1. Ok. I’ve got a question. So many videos say you don’t need to pull the clutch in when you downshift. How true is this? I was always under the impression to downshift you HAD to pull your clutch in. Can’t do that in a car. I’m just curious what the science is behind it? I haven’t ridden in 20 years and just bought a bike, so I’m trying to learn as much as I can before I get out on it.

  2. im 5'3 or 5'4 and 125lb nevr riden a dirt bike or operated a clutch/shifter/footbreak or anything like this… is a kx85 decent for a bike to learn on? i would like to know your thoughts and the cost of maintenance and gas, and do they blow easily while learning?

  3. dude great video. riding for the first time this weekend. your vid was the best ive seen by far, both the structure and information communicated. thank you!

  4. One thing that helped me was understanding how it works so when you let out the rpms lower so you have to give it throttle to get going
