I found this Miyata 310 at a nearby goodwill in my size and figured it'd be a perfect conversion. Everything I had in parts bins or bought used from local bike coops to keep cost down except the Wabit 19t rear cog and the lockring.
Now that I'm older I appreciate the 47×19 ratio and having a front brake. It's been super fun to ride around town on.
I got this wheelset used for cheap online and have no idea what hub it is. Lmk if you know. There's no brand or marking I can find but they spin nicely.
- Frame: Miyata 310
- Stem: Deda Stem
- Bars: Urban Pro Riser with Vans Cult Grips
- Brake Lever: Paul Royal Flush Love Lever (Found at my bike coop!)
- Front Brake: Ultegra
- Front Wheel: Alex rims with Tiagra hub and Conti 4 seasons 25c
- Rear Wheel: Velocity Aero with unknown hub and Conti Gatorskin 28c
- Crankset: Random 165mm Truvativ with 47t Origin8 chainring
- Cog: Wabi 1/8th 19t with Origin8 Torquelite lockring
- Pedals and straps: Cheap set I found at a bike coop. No brand or anything.
