In 1984, Phil Hargreaves left Derby, England and cycled 12,000 miles all the way to Australia, becoming the first person ever to cycle to Everest Base Camp along the way. It’s one of the greatest cycling journeys ever completed.
Now his son Jamie has followed in his father’s tyre tracks.
In this episode, Jamie arrives in Bali and we take a well-earned break from the road to try some of Indonesia’s most iconic food together. After cycling halfway across the planet, did it taste better than anything he’d ever eaten?
