  1. Yesterday my bike started doing something weird. when I first got it out it was making a click or knock occasionally. Then later in the day I rode down a hill and the pedals kicked my feet off! Couldn’t even touch them because it would lock everything up a little.

I figured out it was probably some kind of issue with the freewheel because I could suddenly pedal backwards and the pedals would be engaged as long as the tires were rolling.

Took everything apart today and when I got this geared piece out, a mangled metal ring and a few split bearings fell out. But I can’t find any model numbers on it to look up a replacement. Like I said I’m not knowledgeable about bikes. Everybody’s favorite robot is telling me it might be easier to get a new rim or wheel because the part isn’t standardized.

Bike is a elite destro. Tires are 20 inches. Tire brand is innova, treads look ok. And the section where the freewheel is has shunfeng written on it. If that helps.

  2. Needs a new driver bearing. The tricky bit is removing the seized outer race from the driver, and then inner race from the axle.
    Not an easy remove.
Edit- the replacement bearing should match the other bearing in the driver, it’s identified by its bearing code on the seal. Something like 6092rs for example

just buy a cheap used wheel off marketplace. It’s some super cheap random china hub that you will probably have trouble finding parts for and isn’t probably worth the time and money.
