I don’t see any screws or threads for me to screw it into. I kicked it slightly into place when it first started coming off, but it didn’t fix the problem.
In this particular case, it would be easier to just fit new pedals. You have likely lost bearings, most definitely a locknut and might have stripped off a thread inside the spindle.
Pedals are inexpensive and quick/easy to swap as a whole. Next time do not try to kick it when it starts coming off, but fix it early.

The pedal looks like it is trashed. Time for a new set of pedals.

New pedals. You’ll most likely need a 15mm wrench to get those off. Also, one is right handed threaded and the other is reverse threaded.

The new pedals usually have L and R stamped on them. You can clearly see which one has normal threads and which one is reverse, so there’s no need to guess which way to loosen the old ones.
