    What trails are you planning on riding? These seem very street oriented. Better pictures, or a brand + model name would be more helpful.

  2. Nope. These will have basically no grip at all on loose surfaces. I recommend CST Patrols for a solid beginner tire that doesn’t cost much.

    They don’t look like a good tire for trail situations. Maybe okay for gravel roads?

    Specialized Fast Trak is a decent tire to get started if you’re riding mostly dry trails. If you’re also riding mud then go with the Specialized Ground Control in the front, maybe back too depending on how wet it might be. I’m only recommending these if you don’t want to spend a lot of €, if € doesn’t matter then look into Schwalbe’s XC tires.

    Before the weirdo Americans chime in with don’t ride in the mud, don’t listen to them. In some regions it’s completely acceptable, go with your local norms and customs.

  4. Dude these are horrible tires even for pavement riding. Ate shit and almost took out my shoulder when I lost traction on a little bit of water while riding on these.
