This was my bike growing up, left behind by a family friend. Ten years later, im trying to restore it. Everything is back in order besides the gears randomly shifting while you’re riding, making it completely unusable. I assume I need to replace the part in the third picture but any guidance would be appreciated. I know the cable needs to be replaced as well. (I’m not trying to make her pretty and brand new, I know she needs a bath and rust maintenance)
