    Panniers (or workaround) when front rack bars too wide

    I have bought a new bike that came with racks that don’t fit my panniers. It’s a pizza box style rack. The ideal height and location would be the bar lower down in the photo. Does anyone know of a workaround to get them to attach? Or a set of panniers that will likely fit? Many thanks

      Narrower rack. Front pack that also uses the rack to support the pack

      I use the same rack. The horizontal bars halfway down are the ones intended for panniers. Ideally you should be able to invert the lower hardware on your bike bag so the stabilizing hook points up. But realistically, that pannier’s size looks to be better for the rear rack.

      That rack doesn’t look designed for panniers. If you zip tied a basket to the top rack, you wouldn’t have to use a bike specific bag.
