  1. Awesome video, but is there a mistake with the Bombtrack bike showing up for a few seconds before the pilotcycles bike or was it planned like a little preview?

  2. The Blackheart is beautiful but I still see the “race” geometry and pedigree biasing the design. It doesn’t go far enough to embrace say comfort IMO but what do I know ? Also I’m old.

  3. Bummer to see more and more “electronic only” frames. It’s crazy that the Blackheart Road+ has more clearance than their Allroad, but the Allroad still supports mech drivetrain. I’d be interested in having a lightweight high clearance road bike for the occasional rip around, but all the headset routing and now E only drivetrains are really narrowing down the option pool.

  4. I had an aluminum Bombtrack Tension 2 with carbon fork. I loved that bike and it rode really well even in rough stuff. I was able to fit 42c tires in it and it was fine.

  5. You should have looked at the carbon standard fork of the Tout Terrain Ceres bike – you would have been very positively surprised about their exchangeable eyelets!

  6. I'm sure they ride lovely, but I just don't like look of the proportions of 32" wheels to the frames, and the limitations they bring to in-frame storage

  7. I am quite the open guy and have actually been wanting to try a 36er for a while but I have reached 32" news fatigue in the cycling medias so I am glad this video didn't feature too many of them.

  8. It was so great meeting and thank you for doing the interview with me on the Paint job for TannenWald. I would like to email you and try and continue making some plans for the possibility of sending you a bike to ride for ride review. Again thanks for everything. Also the other video from cycle world was also great! You talked to a lot of people I wanted to talk to but couldn’t take time to go visit!

  9. Good effort and result man. That's a lot of work tightly packed in, exactly the format we need from these events. I thoroughly enjoyed that bowl of eye candy, that will sustain me for a while. Thanks to the both of you.

  10. Yeah🎉…. Glad to see Bombtrack represented in this episode. Have their Arise Tour Bike❣️Absolutely an awesome bicycle for Bickepacking & Touring👍

  11. Haha very European, as in; a lot of high end performance bikes. That's coming from a European. Bombtrack and Tannenwald are ma jam, and a little shoutout to Pilot which is from NL, where I'm from.

  12. Some great builds I wish we could get here in the states. We need a demo train that hits major cities to get to see and try new makers! Great vid Russ!

  13. Why did you ignore the full suspension cargo bike at Rheintritt? I was so hoping to hear about it as well, instead of the umpteenth titanium gravel bikepacking metoo rig…

  14. Why all the beginner bikes with 1by gearing? Only a beginner needs a 1by on a bike for the road. Off roading you can get away with it if your terrain is not level, but if you ride the road to the trail head, then 1by's, again, are not geared properly or can be geared properly for the expert recreational cyclist. 1bys are only for those who don't understand shifting, gearing and why we need them, and don't want to learn.

  15. Thank you BOMBTRACK for including a front derailleur on a bike. I would never consider any road bike a serious bike for the extremely skilled rider without a double or triple crank. Just because the 1by is a fad today for beginner cyclists, don't leave out the cyclists with real world decades of experience who know how to gear ratio their bikes for their own strength and terrain.

  16. 32 inch wheel/tires, now there is something to talk about. Would never buy one without the solid wheels like Chiru is using. Spokes this long will have to be motorcycle sized gage to be safe if they want to try that. Wheels are the weakest part of a bike, and 99.999999% of every tire made in the world is just as weak. Would like to see a bike someday that guarantees their wheels will last as long as the frame. Unlike the horrific beginnings of the 29er that didn't have proper low gearing available yet, now we have 52 cogs that probably would equal a 32 cog on a 26 inch wheel (guessing). Great start Chiru!
