Cop or drop? Wheels are used, hookless (which means they’re the newer version but apparently that’s bad)

I’ve heard mixed reviews on these wheels and am wondering if I should still get there or not. My current Wheelset are enve 6.7s but I wanted to go a bit deeper for my Tri bike build.

Seller is asking $1k which seems like a steal. Anything I should look out for?

  1. Great price! I think the enve 6.7 will be just as good though. So unless you’re doing it for aesthetics or want each bike to have its own wheelset – I wouldn’t sell enves for them.

I’ve run hookless for a few years now (enve 4.5 / zipp 303) and have never had a problem. You just need to run low pressure and use hookless tires.

    I run 55-58psi on 28s.
