lucky sharp teeth on jockey wheels aren’t like sharp teeth on a chainring, but one thing to look at is if both wheels are worn like that, if you’re anything like me you’ll find out your mech is slightly bent because your lower jockey wheel is completely worn out compared to the top. But if they’re both worn out it’s a nice and easy fix swapping them out

For context, this is a bike I was given, it has had no love for many years. It’s rusted in places and worn in others but it has a certain amount of sentimental value to me.
I don’t really know a lot about bikes, but I’m doing my best to restore what I can do it is rideable again. These looked bad to me, but I wanted to check it’s not just the design
