You’ve run the chain the wrong side of the retaining tab on the derailleur.
It’s a rite of passage for chain replacement.

your chain is not correctly threaded through the derailleur. there is a metal protector and the chain must go under it and not on top of it. That metal thing is between two pulleys. Look closer you will see it.

Chain routed incorrectly. There’s a tab on the cage that the chain goes behind, you have it routed in front. That’s what makes the noise. Take the mater link apart, routed the chain correctly, put the master link back in.
