I’m doing a rear air can service, and I used SRAM/rockshox’s serial match tool to grab the right 50hr kit (or so I thought). Upon taking it off the bike and beginning service today, the kit doesn’t have a replacement white o-ring for that is supposed to go in between the two black orings inside the air can. I’ve scoured the webz for other 50hr kits, and I cannot for the life of me find ones with the oring (white ring below) that I need. I’ve seen some kits with a like plastic one that has a cut out of it, would that work? I’d prefer to put exactly what was in there back in. I could probably reuse the old one but I bent it a little removing and really don’t wanna considering I’ve already got it all apart. Any advice? I’ve contacted sram but I’m expecting them to take a fat minute responding because that’s what I’ve experience in the past. Thanks!

Is that the hard plastic ring?
Sooooo i am going to be the bearer of bad news but that plastic ring isnt supposed to come out… I will say that i also removed it the first time i did my service and then found out that it isnt supposed to be removed and if it is removed you are supposed to buy a new can for the shock(like 80 bucks or something like that).
I will say though that i was able to reseat mine and did the shock service and was prepared to buy a new can if i had any issues but have not had any issues over the last 2 years with the shock. As long as you didnt mangle it to bad you will probably be able to get it back into its spot and then you are supposed to just replace the black seals that are on either side of it.
The service kit covers a large variety of shocks and not all the pieces are on each shock so you will have left over unused pieces.
If you look around[ this manual ](https://www.sram.com/globalassets/document-hierarchy/service-manuals/rockshox/rear-suspension/2023-deluxe-service-manual.pdf)at page 48-52 and you can see the plastic piece in the pictures and how the guy servicing it doesnt remove the piece and just services the pieces of rubber on both sides
