Stevenage is a large town and borough in Hertfordshire, England, about 27 miles north of London. I would say that was more Hitchin to Stevenage.
After you come off cycle that track between Letchworth and bridge for the A1(M).
Where you turned right and then left you went to Little Wymondley, Stevenage still can be accessed by turning left instead of right at the plume of feathers pub. If you cycle towards the hospital until you get to right turn for Todds green, you can go in to Stevenage through Todds green or straight on via the roundabout then in to Cory's mill and etc.
