I watched Greg win the Tour in 1989 and 1990. A LeMond is right up there with a Merckx in my book.

That’s an almost 20 year old carbon fork. I would examine it VERY closely for any cracks or imperfections. Including removing it from the frame and looking at the part of the fork in the head tube.
