I’d tighten the crack arm and see if that solves it
Is it a square taper bottom bracket and crank? If so it may just be that the rings that hold the bottom bracket cartridge in have worked loose and it’s a 30s job to tighten them if you have the correct tool. This happened on my bike and my friendly local bike shop tightened it up for me.
Deffo bottom bracket and maybe a quick spruce as well. If you take it to that shop they’ll be pleased you cleaned it up.
